About Verum

We clean B2B data. Faster and cheaper than the agencies you've been paying.

Why This Exists

I spent a decade in B2B sales at Salesforce, Microsoft, and Snapdocs. At every company, the same problem: the CRM was full of garbage data. Disconnected numbers, bounced emails, contacts who'd left the company two years ago. Reps wasted hours researching before they could even pick up the phone.

The "fix" was always expensive. Hire an agency for $12K and wait six weeks. Buy a ZoomInfo license for $50K/year. Assign an intern to manually clean spreadsheets. None of it scaled, and most of it didn't even work that well.

When AI tools got good enough to do reliable data work, I realized the entire services model was about to break. An AI agent can do in 20 minutes what a contractor does in 4 hours. So I built a company around that.

What We Actually Do

You send us your data. We clean it, enrich it, and send it back. Usually within a day or two.

That means deduplicating your CRM, verifying that businesses are still operating, finding the right contact person, and appending verified emails and phone numbers. We pull from 50+ data sources and cross-reference everything. A human reviews every project before we deliver it.

We're not a platform. There's nothing to implement, no dashboard to learn, no seat licenses. You pay per record, you know the cost upfront, and the data is yours to keep.

Why Per-Record Pricing

Agencies bill by the hour because it's good for them. The longer the project takes, the more they make. There's zero incentive to be efficient.

We charge per record because AI lets us do the work fast without cutting corners. Processing 100,000 records costs us roughly the same as 10,000, per record. So we pass that efficiency on. You get a fixed quote before we start, and that's what you pay.

Who I Am

I'm Rome. Before Verum, I was Head of Sales at Datajoy (acquired by Databricks), sold CRM and AI products at Microsoft, and was an early hire at Snapdocs through their Series A to D (Sequoia, Founders Fund, YC, Tiger Global). MBA from UC Berkeley Haas.

I've sat in the chair where bad data costs you deals. That's why I built this.

The Name

Verum is Latin for "truth." Seemed fitting for a company whose entire job is making sure your data is accurate.
