Data Append

Data append (also called data appending) is the process of adding missing fields to your existing records by matching them against external data sources. You have a name and company; we append the email, phone number, job title, LinkedIn URL, company size, and industry. The original record stays intact. New fields get added alongside it.

Why It Matters

Every database has gaps. Forms capture some fields but not others. Data decays as people change jobs. Imports from different systems have different fields populated. Data append fills these gaps without requiring your team to manually research each record. A database with 60% field completion becomes 90%+ after appending, which means your lead scoring, routing, and segmentation actually work.

What Gets Appended

Example

A sales team has 8,000 contacts with names and company names but only 3,000 have email addresses and 1,500 have phone numbers. After appending, 7,200 have verified emails and 5,800 have direct dial phone numbers. The team triples its reachable contacts without buying a single new lead.
